The Strange Bug
Cyla was out strolling the trials then suddenly saw a strange bug caught in a spiderweb. She walked closer to get a better look. "Oh poor bug, it's caught and it's gonna die" she said with worry. The bug was caught too high in the web so she could not just simply pluck the bug out.
"What kind of bug are you?" she said to herself as she glanced a close as she could. The bug was a dark orange with red wavy marks down it's side. The waves looked like clouds or smoke rolling down it's back. It looked more like a beetle but did not have a hard shell. The skin looked like lizard skin. But it was a beetle shaped bug! VERY FASCINATING IT WAS!
Moments later the web started to move! "Oh no!" Cyla yelled with fright. She knew the spider of that huge web was coming. The bug was about 6 inches big. But the web it was caught in was 8 feet from the ground up. On the top left of the tree the web was attached to was a dark hole, about one foot in diameter.
Suddenly dark black legs slowly came out of the hole. The legs were at least 12 inches long, thick and shiny. Not one hair was on those spider legs. Then the rest of the legs came out of the hole. The bug struggled defenseless!
Cyla watched in fright. She thought of picking up a stone and throwing it but she did not want to harm the beautiful bug.
The spider was now fully out of it's hole. It was a giant black widow spider. This was not a normal black widow spider, but a Palomar spider! The dark creature moved slowly towards the but, it's legs just inches from the panicking bug.
The spider was now about to attack the bug. It was just about to spin it's web of death.
Suddenly the marks on the bug started glowing a neon red color! "Wow!" said Cyla in curiosity. The spider moved even closer to the bug and started slowly wrapping the bug in thick white web. The bug then spit out fire! "YES, FIRE!" The fire completely destroyed the web around it and fell out of the web.
But the bug was still trapped!

What are "Upgrades"
Upgrades are when one acquires an ability. Such as balancing rocks, moving clouds, talking to animals etc. What society calls "Blessed" or "Gift" we here at "Camp 2012" call it "Upgrades." Or "Abilities."
But one does not just acquire an upgrade out of the blue. One must ask for an ability when his or her upgrade is at hand.
How does one know when their upgrade is at hand?:
One will get a nervous feeling throughout the day. A feel of something serious about to happen. Then the upgrade calls upon you. Some react in different fashions. Some collapse for minutes. Some collapse for hours. Some even go into a coma. Upgrades have various effects on different types of children (and adults).
Who gives you the upgrade:
upgrades are given by the "Most High" "The AHll" The upgrade is a way of the "Most High" saying, "I'm proud of you and I've got to talk to you."
Once you are in the effects of this "Upgrade", the nervous feeling throughout the day; you must then ask for an ability. You will then be given that ability. Yes, you can choose any ability you like, ANY. But here is the fascinating part: "Your mind only asked for abilities it knows it is actually capable of achieving." To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers on military installations.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ‘National Emergency Centers Establishment Act’.
SEC. 2. ESTABLISHMENT OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY CENTERS.
(a) In General- In accordance with the requirements of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall establish not fewer than 6 national emergency centers on military installations.
(b) Purpose of National Emergency Centers- The purpose of a national emergency center shall be to use existing infrastructure--
(1) to provide temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster;
(2) to provide centralized locations for the purposes of training and ensuring the coordination of Federal, State, and local first responders;
(3) to provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations; and
(4) to meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security.
SEC. 3. DESIGNATION OF MILITARY INSTALLATIONS AS NATIONAL EMERGENCY CENTERS.
(a) In General- Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, shall designate not fewer than 6 military installations as sites for the establishment of national emergency centers.
(b) Minimum Requirements- A site designated as a national emergency center shall be--
(1) capable of meeting for an extended period of time the housing, health, transportation, education, public works, humanitarian and other transition needs of a large number of individuals affected by an emergency or major disaster;
(2) environmentally safe and shall not pose a health risk to individuals who may use the center;
(3) capable of being scaled up or down to accommodate major disaster preparedness and response drills, operations, and procedures;
(4) capable of housing existing permanent structures necessary to meet training and first responders coordination requirements during nondisaster periods;
(5) capable of hosting the infrastructure necessary to rapidly adjust to temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance needs;
(6) required to consist of a complete operations command center, including 2 state-of-the art command and control centers that will comprise a 24/7 operations watch center as follows:
(A) one of the command and control centers shall be in full ready mode; and
(B) the other shall be used daily for training; and
(7) easily accessible at all times and be able to facilitate handicapped and medical facilities, including during an emergency or major disaster.
(c) Location of National Emergency Centers- There shall be established not fewer than one national emergency center in each of the following areas:
(1) The area consisting of Federal Emergency Management Agency Regions I, II, and III.
(2) The area consisting of Federal Emergency Management Agency Region IV.
(3) The area consisting of Federal Emergency Management Agency Regions V and VII.
(4) The area consisting of Federal Emergency Management Agency Region VI.
(5) The area consisting of Federal Emergency Management Agency Regions VIII and X.
(6) The area consisting of Federal Emergency Management Agency Region IX.
(d) Preference for Designation of Closed Military Installations- Wherever possible, the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, shall designate a closed military installation as a site for a national emergency center. If the Secretaries of Homeland Security and Defense jointly determine that there is not a sufficient number of closed military installations that meet the requirements of subsections (b) and (c), the Secretaries shall jointly designate portions of existing military installations other than closed military installations as national emergency centers.
(e) Transfer of Control of Closed Military Installations- If a closed military installation is designated as a national emergency center, not later than 180 days after the date of designation, the Secretary of Defense shall transfer to the Secretary of Homeland Security administrative jurisdiction over such closed military installation.
(f) Cooperative Agreement for Joint Use of Existing Military Installations- If an existing military installation other than a closed military installation is designated as a national emergency center, not later than 180 days after the date of designation, the Secretary of Homeland Security and the Secretary of Defense shall enter into a cooperative agreement to provide for the establishment of the national emergency center.
(g) Reports-
(1) PRELIMINARY REPORT- Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security, acting jointly with the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to Congress a report that contains for each designated site--
(A) an outline of the reasons why the site was selected;
(B) an outline of the need to construct, repair, or update any existing infrastructure at the site;
(C) an outline of the need to conduct any necessary environmental clean-up at the site;
(D) an outline of preliminary plans for the transfer of control of the site from the Secretary of Defense to the Secretary of Homeland Security, if necessary under subsection (e); and
(E) an outline of preliminary plans for entering into a cooperative agreement for the establishment of a national emergency center at the site, if necessary under subsection (f).
(2) UPDATE REPORT- Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security, acting jointly with the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to Congress a report that contains for each designated site--
(A) an update on the information contained in the report as required by paragraph (1);
(B) an outline of the progress made toward the transfer of control of the site, if necessary under subsection (e);
(C) an outline of the progress made toward entering a cooperative agreement for the establishment of a national emergency center at the site, if necessary under subsection (f); and
(D) recommendations regarding any authorizations and appropriations that may be necessary to provide for the establishment of a national emergency center at the site.
(3) FINAL REPORT- Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security, acting jointly with the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to Congress a report that contains for each designated site--
(A) finalized information detailing the transfer of control of the site, if necessary under subsection (e);
(B) the finalized cooperative agreement for the establishment of a national emergency center at the site, if necessary under subsection (f); and
(C) any additional information pertinent to the establishment of a national emergency center at the site.
(4) ADDITIONAL REPORTS- The Secretary of Homeland Security, acting jointly with the Secretary of Defense, may submit to Congress additional reports as necessary to provide updates on steps being taken to meet the requirements of this Act.
SEC. 4. LIMITATIONS ON STATUTORY CONSTRUCTION.
This Act does not affect--
(1) the authority of the Federal Government to provide emergency or major disaster assistance or to implement any disaster mitigation and response program, including any program authorized by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.); or
(2) the authority of a State or local government to respond to an emergency.
SEC. 5. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.
There is authorized to be appropriated $180,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2009 and 2010 to carry out this Act. Such funds shall remain available until expended.
SEC. 6. DEFINITIONS.
In this Act, the following definitions apply:
(1) CLOSED MILITARY INSTALLATION- The term ‘closed military installation’ means a military installation, or portion thereof, approved for closure or realignment under the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1990 (part A of title XXIX of Public Law 101-510; 10 U.S.C. 2687 note) that meet all, or 2 out of the 3 following requirements:
(A) Is located in close proximity to a transportation corridor.
(B) Is located in a State with a high level or threat of disaster related activities.
(C) Is located near a major metropolitan center.
(2) EMERGENCY- The term ‘emergency’ has the meaning given such term in section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122).
(3) MAJOR DISASTER- The term ‘major disaster’ has the meaning given such term in section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122).
(4) MILITARY INSTALLATION- The term ‘military installation’ has the meaning given such term in section 2910 of the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1990 (part A of title XXIX of Public Law 101-510; 10 U.S.C. 2687 note).

The New Kid from Mexico
A new kid is arriving from Mexico. His name is Juan, age 10. Apparently him and his parents crossed the US boarder illegally. But that's not what the highlight of this child is. The highlight is the horrific story he has to tell about their journey and the death of his dad.

The Story of Odmar the Dragon Elder
“I hope I’m ready for this Firoth.” “Hm, hmm, I’m sure you are ready Elder Odmar; you love human children…” “I know Firoth, I always get nervous this time of century.” “Oh yes, every one hundred years, the Schlytha Trials.”
What you are hearing is the conversation between two Dragons. Yes, Dragons; oh yes they did exist (a if you stay tuned long enough to this story, you might see they exist even in your realm of the 21st century:
Odmar the Dragon Elder spoke to his apprentice Firoth with concern: “Sure, humans have evolved, that is simple for the Earth controls that. But what about the advancement? Are they still killing themselves and everything around them?” His apprentice answered: “In some parts of the land, yes, but this centuries chosen are very hopeful; they are delightful children” Firoth concluded. “Hmm, then this Schlytha Trials should be a grand one with much satisfaction” Elder Odmar said calmly. “I hope the den is to their satisfaction, I’m sure there is enough gold, crystals and treasure for their satisfaction as always” Odmar said. “Hmmm, they could never let go of that humanly greed; shame” Odmar said looking down to the ground as if to be saddened.
The Dragon’s Den was a sight that your average human could not endure with first dimensional eyes: It was deep under ground, who knows how far, how deep. It is highly sacred, and highly secret in which no one must know where it is located ESPECIALLY HUMANS. “Even as the story teller I am sworn not to tell the location.” But the den was beautiful indeed: ceilings that were hundreds of feet high, and disappeared into nothingness. Humans are told not to look up unless they are brave because if you are not careful you will feel like you are falling; even though you are looking up! But the main attraction of this den, cave was the gold! Gold lined every wall, diamonds and crystals were in abundance like a common rock in your average earthly cave.
Dragons loved precious stones such as diamonds, crystals, ruby’s you name it. They love them because inside of them they have the ability to view the world they come from. Oh no, by any means Dragons are not from Earth, they are from the 5th dimension, a dimension that takes more than two eyes and emotion to see. But every 100 years the Dragons hold trials by the name of Schlytha. These trials are not like they sound; they are not harsh.
The Schlytha trial is simply a dinner with humans. Worry not, humans are not on the menu. Dragon’s do not eat meat, nor veggies either. They eat ore, iron ore. But every 100 years Elder Odmar invites 3 chosen children to the den for a simple dinner. Odmar believes that much can be learned about a man simply by inviting him to dinner.

Odmar the Dragon Elder spoke to his apprentice Firoth with concern: “Sure, humans have evolved, that is simple for the Earth controls that. But what about the advancement? Are they still killing themselves and everything around them?” His apprentice answered: “In some parts of the land, yes, but this centuries chosen are very hopeful; they are delightful children” Firoth concluded. “Hmm, then this Schlytha Trials should be a grand one with much satisfaction” Elder Odmar said calmly. “I hope the den is to their satisfaction, I’m sure there is enough gold, crystals and treasure for their satisfaction as always” Odmar said. “Hmmm, they could never let go of that humanly greed; shame” Odmar said looking down to the ground as if to be saddened.
The Dragon’s Den was a sight that your average human could not endure with first dimensional eyes: It was deep under ground, who knows how far, how deep. It is highly sacred, and highly secret in which no one must know where it is located ESPECIALLY HUMANS. “Even as the story teller I am sworn not to tell the location.” But the den was beautiful indeed: ceilings that were hundreds of feet high, and disappeared into nothingness. Humans are told not to look up unless they are brave because if you are not careful you will feel like you are falling; even though you are looking up! But the main attraction of this den, cave was the gold! Gold lined every wall, diamonds and crystals were in abundance like a common rock in your average earthly cave.
Dragons loved precious stones such as diamonds, crystals, ruby’s you name it. They love them because inside of them they have the ability to view the world they come from. Oh no, by any means Dragons are not from Earth, they are from the 5th dimension, a dimension that takes more than two eyes and emotion to see. Addact Talks About the Aurora Colorado Shooting 5 Years Later

This must be truly the worst shape earth has been in. I heard people use to admire light. Now they idolize darkness and evil. Remember 5 years ago, that shooting in the neighboring state of Colorado? A boy went into a movie theater and shot up everyone! It was the premiere of "Batman." Out of all places to shoot up, he picks a super hero movie. AND ATTACKS AS THE JOKER! "DARKNESS!"

The Girl Who Could Talk to Faeries
Shi’hera ran down a small trail on her way to the neighboring camp. The trail was dark because of hundreds of towering trees blocking out the sunlight. Even though the trail was dark Shi‘hera kept on running, with a big smile on her face; she didn‘t seem to care about the darkness.
Shi‘hera came from England with her parents in 2017 when she was 4 years of age. When Prince Jackson heard of her abilities he shipped her and her family on the first freight boat. Why a freight boat you say? This was only a freight boat by sight. Underneath the boat was 2 more levels; oh, but that is another story, right now we must get back to Shi‘hera‘s journey through the darkened forest.
Shi’hera was now further along the trail, far enough to where she could not see the entrance in which she came. Just then she stopped… “What was that” she thought to herself. I hope, I hope; oh I’d betta not think terrable things or, or.
Just then a big bush moved in the distance to her right. “Oh” she said out loud, “who is theya?” The bush rustled again; then the bush next to that one rustled. Whatever was in the bush had to be big because the bush was at least 8 feet tall and the whole bush rustled all the way to the top. Laguna forest was full of wild animals. Though most of them were tamed, there were some older generation of animals that did not get to experience human affection. There were talks about a huge family of elder Cougars that were more vicious than a pit-bull from 45th street.
“I really hope you are not a Couga” Shi’hera said with a shaky voice. Shi’hera looked behind her to see the path going forever, little beams of sunlight lit parts of the trail. Leaves were falling here and there but in the distance the entrance was gone, the path disappeared.
“Oh!” the sound of rustling came again but it did not come from the same bush. The rustling was much louder this time and it came from, from, Shi’hera looked around… IT CAME FROM A BUSH RIGHT NEXT TO HER! Right after the rustling sound came a deep growl. But this couldn’t be the growl from a Cougar because Cougar’s are only 4 feet tall and this growl came from the top of the bush; about 7-8 feet from the ground; and it was very deep!
“Ah” Shi’hera ran without thinking. Here little white gown blew in the wind and she kept her face forward, hoping that the light at the end of the forest came soon. Just then, the beast ran from bush to bush, Shi’hera was too scared to see what the beast was.
She can now hear the heavy stomping of the beast, “It must be four hundred pounds” she thought to herself. She continued to run, falling leaves hitting her in the face here and there. She passed an occasional butterfly, she jumped over an occasional rock. The bushes to her right were shaking aggressively as the beast ran in them. Shi’hera took a quick glimpse to her right and caught view of the beast’s foot! The foot looked like claws from a giant Eagle. The stomping continued, the bushes kept rumbling with the sounds of branches breaking.
Shi’hera’s face grew red with fear then she closed her eyes and opened them wide. She then yelled, “My friends, my friends, let tha dragonfly show me who you really are!” Oh Ziare, help me please.” Shi’hera kept running, slightly slowing down from running out of breath, but the beast kept running, shaking every bush near her and grunting.
“My friends, my friends, let the Dragonflies of this forest bring you forth now!” Just then in the distance a bright light came down through the tree tops. The light was golden with big flakes of different, beautiful colors: orange flakes, yellow flakes, light blue flakes, pink flakes, purple flakes, it was astounding! Then golden sparkles came down that looked like glitter. “Oh, my friends help me!”

A Fight Over Broomsticks
Cassandra and Sarah got into a big argument yesterday over Cassandra's broomstick. Apparently Cassandra was just about to demonstrate to Shi'hera how to fly a broom. Then Sarah (the Mormon) interrupted the whole demonstration and began insulting Cassandra. Cassandra is the new girl who just arrived last week. I feel she holds a very special importance to this camp and I do not wish to have her feel uncomfortable. I will have one of the counselors give a talking to Sarah.

The Battle of Races 2013

2012- End of the World
In 2012 the end of the world is nigh. Just before Christmas 2012, apparently. It's that time of the decade once again, we're overdue a fresh round of global wipeout. And who says so? The Mayans, by all accounts. An ancient civilization that occupied large tracts of Central America, from around 1800BC until environmental change, over population and the arrival of the Spanish Conquistadores some 2000 thousand years later caused their societal collapse.
The Mayan were a culturally rich people, gifted with architecture, mathematics and astrological understanding. During their cultural growth, they found a way to track time, by way of a rather complex calendar system. It's a part of that system that's currently being hawked in seminars, books and across the internet, to promote the latest end of the world predictions.
Forgive me for being cynical but 2012 is the end of the world? First, I rather hope not. And second let's check the stats. From the time that we, as a species, discovered how to 'spread the word', we've actually got pretty good at it. Particularly when it comes to the proliferation of bad news. I'd go as far as saying we're positively expert at it. We embrace bad news with open arms.
And that's why bad news spreads like wild-fire. Regardless of the source, if it's doom and gloom, we want a slice. Heck, give me a double helping. Regarding the 2012 prophecies, I think we're onto dessert. Despite the fact that no one has anything tangible to bring to the table, we're still swallowing up the demise of life as we know it like it's on sale at Wal-Mart.
The fact is (and there are quite a few) the Mayans didn't predict anything. The famed Mayan calendar was created as a means of tracking time. It wasn't constructed for the sole purpose of predictions and prophecies. There's no doubt that the long count calendar was used to forecast crop sowing and yielding and other similar cultural and/or natural events. But the Mayans weren't prophetic by nature.
They were definitely superstitious; they believed in a myriad of different Gods. However there's no relation between their superstitious beliefs and the 2012 end of the world prophecies. There's no doubt that the calendar ends. Much in the same way that our Gregorian calendar does. And granted, our calendar does not last for 5,125.36 years.We generally take things year by year. Call us modern, but we like yearly time spans.
The Mayan calendar ends because the specified time line is simply 5,125.36 years. And here's a little secret: It just starts all over again. It's worth bearing in mind that any form of narrative relating to the 2012 end of the world predictions generates money. Check out bookstores, search online - listen to the news. Someone, somewhere, has an opinion on it. And don't think for one minute that their opinions are given for free.
Bearing all the above in mind, I think it's safe to say that we don't need to build an underground backyard bunker just yet. Life on earth will, at some point, cease to exist. But not because an ancient culture allegedly said so. As far as I'm concerned, I'm erring on the side of veracity. Plus, I rather like living on the third rock from the sun. I remain hopeful that it will still be here come 2013.
In closing, here's a little perspective: past and present, there are currently in excess of 200 similar predictions. And counting.

The Secret About the Kids
In 2012 a new world was formed. With this new world came a new state of consciousness. When the people of Earth woke up on the day of December 22nd 2012, they found themselves living in a realm in which their past lives have taken over. Most humans were unable to cope with this new reality, but there were special people (children) who knew of this day; one's who were already in tune with whom they once were thousands of years before...
